Return Policy
How Do Returns Work?
The following conditions apply to returns, including our Fair Use Policy:
If you return an item within 30 days after delivery (either to you personally or to a designated pickup location), we will issue a refund to the original payment method used for the purchase. We aim to process the refund within 14 days after receiving the returned item.
Did you know that, according to a study by the University of Bamberg, a single return can cost retailers up to €20 and also harms the environment?
For this reason, we charge the following flat fees for returns or exchanges:
Germany: €4.90
Austria, Belgium, Netherlands: €6.90
This amount covers only part of the actual costs—we cover the rest for you.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns after the 30-day period. If you send an item back after this timeframe, it will be returned to the delivery address at your own expense. If you need to return an item but it cannot reach us within 30 days, please contact us first. In such cases, refunds are issued at our discretion.
Original Condition
Items must be returned in the condition in which you received them—in the original packaging and with all original labels attached. We do not accept items that have been worn or washed.
If a returned item is damaged or in improper condition, it cannot be accepted. In this case, we may return the item to you (shipping costs will apply). All returned items are carefully inspected upon arrival.
Responsibility
You are responsible for the item until it reaches us. Please ensure it is packaged securely to avoid damage during transit. Keep your shipping receipt in case we need to verify your return.
We cannot accept responsibility for items that are sent to us by mistake. If we can identify the item (which is not always possible) and you would like it returned, you will be responsible for any shipping costs.
Fair Use Policy
If we notice an unusually high number of orders and returns, or if the returned items do not match the items you ordered, we may deactivate your account and any related accounts.
If your account has been deactivated and you need to make a valid return, please contact our customer service team.
Please note: We reserve the right to take legal action if the items returned do not correspond to the items you actually ordered.
How to Return or Exchange an Item
Scan the QR code or visit: https://stehmann-store.de/pages/rucksendungen
Enter your order number (e.g., ST#22222) and your postal code
Select the items you want to return or exchange for a different size
Place the selected items in the original package and seal it securely
Drop off the parcel at any Post or DHL shop of your choice
Important: For size exchanges, we ship the replacement item only after the returned item has arrived at our warehouse.
